Day 45: Toronto to Belleville

Today we rode 143 km's from Toronto to Belleville.

Once again, we found some highways less traveled - and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and the beautiful countryside!

A staple food on a hot day!

We almost didn't fit under this bridge!

Just inches to spare!

The only vehicle to pass us on the road today? The support truck!

We even found a couch to relax on - the perfect rest stop! Too bad it was too big to put on the back of the bike and take with us!

Our day was made when we met David Snow and his wife Jan Kennedy. They are both in the military, and David is a pilot who has flown Prime Minister Steven Harper around the country. Jan is an aerospace engineer - who keeps Dave's plane going!

We met them at a park where they were walking their dog (Molly) and we were hiding out from a huge thunderstorm that hit us.

Our favourite part of being on the road is meeting all the amazing people who show such huge support.
Darryl and Darryl  - riding sidecar, attached by a stick!

John at the automotive shop where we hosed down our bikes!

Thank you everybody!
