Day 41: Spanish to Tobermory

Today, we rode from Spanish to Tobermory.

A challenging day because of the up-and-down of the hills that started as soon as we turned south from 'Espanola' to Tobermory.

Highlights of the day included waking up to find a most unusual moth sitting on the fence post outside our 5th wheel!

Awesome lakes and waterfalls

The weather being so hot that even the cows wanted to cool off; and a cool bathroom setup in the women's restroom at Ernie's Restaurant!

That's economy!! Only one roll between them!

Vern (aka "Santa") in his workshop - making a sheepskin seat in the hopes of a more comfortable ride!

Meet Mark's trusty mule "Pepe" and Vern's work-horse "Hyde's Pride".

These guys are what makes it happen day in and day out!

Also, remember Rick? The retired principal who is riding his bike across the country??? Here he is! Say "HI RICK!"

  1. So how did you get to Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula? Can you ride on water, as well ???
