Day 40 (June 12) - Sault Ste Marie to Spanish

Today, we were destined for Blind River - but when we arrived, after 127 km's, we had enough juice to ride to the next town called Spanish!

Total of 184 km's.

Along the way we saw a farm with a cool fence made out of bicycles!

Sat in a huge chair...

Saw some Amish people - the ladies witnessed an Amish barn raising!

And we met a young couple from Tennessee! Zachary and Kathryn are on their way to Oregon - via Canada.

We also met Mathius from London, ON - on his way to Vancouver to meet up with friends and look for work.

At the end of the day, we were tired - BUT NOT EXHAUSTED!!!! This tells me that our bodies are getting stronger, and are now used to the 150 km distances, and to pushing hard!

The world is a good place - think about what you can do to make it better than it is now!

And while you are thinking it over, feel free to donate to our effort to make it better!!
Thank you so much for the support!

  1. Thanks for teaching your children and your children's children that the world is far bigger than the petty personal problems we imagine for ourselves on a daily basis.
