THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH

Last Friday we officially started the Chain Reaction.

As the closing piece of Canadian Humanitarian's fundraiser on Sept 30 we (Vern, Ken and Mark) suited up in our gear and announced that we will be riding acorss Canada to raise funds to build a school in Ethiopia!

With tons of passion, lots of laughs and a cool new website we are ready to start a chain reaction across Canada, the U.S. and Ethiopia.  Please join the chain and donate today!

Why the Ride?

We are doing the “Chain Reaction Ride” from May to July, 2012!!

Edward Everett Hale said: "I am only one, but I am one. I can't do everything, but I can do something. The something I ought to do I can do. And …I will”

What started out as a dream of “one” has now become a dream of three. The "I" has now become "WE"- Vern Hyde, Ken Wallace and Mark Bishop. Three businessmen in their 50’s who have been given much in life who too want to give something back. Three friends who want to make a difference in the lives of many orphaned and vulnerable children in Ethiopia. These children have nothing, and need hope for a bright future. There are currently programs in place and running which provide basic necessities and education for these young children. The children in the program are thriving. The big problem is that there are no quality facilities to house the programs! The charitable organizations running these programs in Ethiopia are Canadian Humanitarian, and its US affiliate organization Kids Hope Ethiopia.

That's where the "WE" comes in... ALL of us … as many as possible.

Check back soon for more from our riders!
