Day 31: Savanna to Thunder Bay

This was a crazy ride! Again no shoulders on the road.

The main highway was washed away during some flooding around Thunder Bay, so we ended up riding on mud shoulders for the last 40 km's of our ride.

Made it to Thunder Bay and are happy for the break!

Vern - finally made it to Thunder Bay!


We did have a few fun side trips today! We visited the Terry Fox Memorial



Vern and Dena, and Terry Fox!


We also took a hike out to Trobridge Falls. It was beautiful!








Totally made our day!

    It was so fantastic meeting all of you and we loved having you come to our city (Thunder Bay) and coming to church. You are all very inspiring and your spirits are very uplifting...thank you for stopping in and touching our lives.
